Israel and The Sweet Sound Band is a well-rounded seasoned group of musicians and entertainers. Israel and The Sweet Sound Band originated in 1970 in Dallas, Texas, playing in some of the finest hot spots in the Dallas area. Although members have changed through the years, Israel Cavazos Jr., is the founder and oldest member of Israel and the Sweet Sound Band. Israel and The Sweet Sound Band still perform great R&B, Jazz, Classic Rock, and Oldies

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

      Israel “Iz” Cavazos Jr.,- who fronts The Sweet Sound Band originated in 1970, began his career at             an early age playing USO shows and doing studio recordings with some of the top bands. Influenced         by Uncles that were in the music industry/ Musicians for years..Blood Sweat and Tears, Chicago,                 Great Rock and Roll Bands and others, He formed his own group. The Sweet Sound Band has                     worked all the hot spots in the Dallas area. His unique talent is displayed in the wide variety of the             material he performs.

 

 

 

        Jess Rocha- is also one of the ORIGINAL MEMBERS of The Sweet Sound Band. Jess is one of the best        lead guitarist and has also been a favorite in the studio as well. He has played with numerous bands        in the Dallas area.

 

 

 

 

 

      Charles Haggard-   is one of the ORIGINAL MEMBERS of The Sweet Sound Band. He is now and has          been a member of Spectors Gun Collection band. The band is known as Texas #1 British Invasion              and  Classic Rock Band.
